Mag-Ingat Ka Sa…Kulam – Philippines Filipino Tagalog DVD Movie Kulam centers on Mira (Judy Ann Santos), a recent survivor of a car accident that has partly affected her memory, and her grip on reality as well. Seven Alone (1974) A fictionalized account of the real-life adventure of the Sager family. Travelling with a wagon train from Missouri to Oregon, things are going well for the Sagers, until father Sager dies from blood poisoning following an Indian attack, and mother Sager dies soon afterward from pneumonia. The leaders of the wagon train decide to send the children back, but the oldest, John (who had been described by all the adults as lazy and worthless), decides to lead his siblings through the wilderness to complete the journey their parents started.
Customer Review: A Sensitive Frightening Performance
David Janssen’s show business associates must have been trying to tell him something when he was persuaded to take on this role of a brilliant but self destructive professional man in this hard hitting made-for TV film. As the camera close-shots his bloated, alcohol ravaged features and watery eyes, you get the feeling it wasn’t all acting. Tragicaly, he died just a couple of years after this was made. Tough to watch, but with a strong message for every one who has wrestled with the Demons.

There’s nothing pretty about A SENSITIVE,PASSIONATE MAN. It’s for me deeply sorrowful.Not everyone escapes from the misery of addiction_ David Janssen’s character does not , nor does his family. Feel for the kids. I believe neither of the leads got nominated for an Emmy. Perhaps subject matter too much of a downer for those selectors/ voters. David Janssen & Angie Dickinson both give outstanding performances. A film of torment, turmoil, a little hope that is soon dashed & one of the sad pathetic ends inevitably ensues.
I noticed at least one of the photos used on the film was a still from a FUGITIVE episode that they both were in (BRASS RING).In the latter half of the film there is one scene which lasts only a few minutes were the audio & video is slightly out of synch. Glad to say was isolated to to this small short scene.
It is for A SENSITIVE,PASSIONATE MAN that I bought this disc & for which I give the 5* rating.
Of the second film SEVEN ALONE there is for me not much to say. I almost did not watch it because of the horrendous smaltchzy introduction. I tried again- most of the time I amused myself with a few other activities whilst it was on. So boring ! and so badly put together. Apparently a true story-Shame such a mess was made of the film. It sort of got a little watchable towards the end. That’s the best that I can say about it.

THE DEVIL’S PLAYGROUND IS A MOVIE LIKE NONE OTHER.

IT TELLS ABOUT THE TABOOS IN THIS WORLD THAT NO ONE SEEMS TO WANT TO TALK ABOUT. WHETHER IT BE IN A CATHOLIC SCHOOL FOR BOYS, A CATHOLIC SCHOOL FOR GIRLS OR JUST IN THE TYPICAL EVERYDAY HOME. EXCEPT THIS STORY WAS IN A CATHOLIC SCHOOL FOR BOYS.

JUST WISH THEY WOULD COME OUT WITH A MOVIE, AN ENHANCED VERSION OF THE VERY SAME BOYS, WHERE MORE IS TOLD ABOUT THE BOYS, THAN WITH THE PRIESTS.
Customer Review: well made film.
This film demonstrates why I love Aussie films. It is the kind I would make if I had the talent to produce and direct. There is never a dull moment. It moves at a fast clip and reveals what many of us who were exposed to parochial school endured. I have no bitter memories but this film shows everything including the warts. A wonderful film but I am appalled at much is the asking price for a copy. I am glad I bought mine when they were cheap.
